excellent for weekend city adventures with nearby attractions

My stay was enhanced by the hotel’s proximity to the Sapporo Clock Tower, just a short 5-minute walk away, and the beautiful Hokkaido University Botanical Gardens, which was less than a 20-minute stroll that allowed me to take in lovely park views. I enjoyed the flexibility of the self-service check-in and the spacious room that made my solo travels around the city so easy.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Knot Sapporo. The location is fantastic, offering easy access to shopping, dining, and the underground shopping walkway for added convenience in harsh weather. The staff were exceptionally warm and attentive, making me feel right at home.

The breakfast menu was somewhat limited.

However, the noise from the street made it hard to sleep comfortably. The lack of coffee supplies with the kettle was disappointing, leaving me craving that morning ritual.

Initially, the room layout in the Standard Queen Room made moving around a real challenge, limiting space to unpack any luggage. There were issues with cleanliness. I found trash from previous guests. Although I moved to a better room after raising concerns, experiencing problems with bed linens causing skin irritation was quite disappointing. Additionally, the daily replacement of towels without asking felt excessive and wasteful.

The unique evening coin system and tasty desserts created a delightful atmosphere. The spacious room with a panoramic city view was aesthetically pleasing, enhancing my experience throughout my stay.

The hotel enjoys an unbeatable location with direct lift access to an underground mall leading to the subway, making exploration a breeze. The staff were consistently warm and helpful, which significantly enhanced the experience. enjoying a lovely Japanese breakfast complemented the stay. However, attention could be improved in-room amenities, particularly the lack of coffee supplies and potential noise from the street, which might disrupt sleep.

Just a perfect match for a brief visit in Sapporo with great value-to-price ratio. The housekeeping staff were very attentive and kept the common areas tidy, which was nice. Avoid peak breakfast hours to dodge the crowd.
